Simone Renee | Executive Director & Co Founder

Graduate of Johnson & Wales Denver, mother of three, and entrepreneur with a passion for community engagement and project management. Simone is committed to building and maintaining relationships and encouraging both internal and external growth. Partnering with many organizations, Simone works with professionals to provide project management support and aid in guiding entrepreneurs to the resources necessary to be successful in launching, developing, growing, and or scaling their businesses.

Maggie Magalona | Executive Admin

Maggie is the Executive Admin at DEEP Impact, where she supports the Executive Director and team with heart, hustle, and a sharp eye for detail. Whether she’s managing schedules, keeping projects on track, or helping shape our social media presence, she brings a calm, can-do spirit to everything she does. With a background in marketing and operations, she blends creativity with organization to help DEEP Impact run smoothly and stay connected to the community.

Beyond work, she finds joy in simple things: playing mobile games, watching Netflix, and spending quality time with loved ones. She brings that same sense of warmth and commitment to her role at DEEP Impact, where she’s proud to be part of a mission focused on building generational wealth and wellness.

Which Role is Right for You?

DEEP Impact offers two opportunities for board members based on the ability and capacity of members of our community interested in helping DEEP Impact accomplish our mission, vision and goals. Below is an outline of the difference between our two boards and insight into our current Board and Committee Structure.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our organization and ensuring its financial sustainability. Directors provide governance, oversee key policies, and guide our long-term vision.

Advisory Board

Our Advisory Board plays a critical role in providing subject matter expertise and resources that drive economic mobility and success for the African-descended community. Advisory Board members advise on important decisions that directly impact our community.
